Final Preparation before leaving for Mexico:

Check out the top entry on the blue car above. This is a complete tube chassis rhino. At ride height from ground to top it was only 49 inches.
Here is car #1802:

This was Friday afternoon at contingency.

Race Course Repairs:

The car was running well until we had a ball joint failure. This required a 15 minute repair at about 2:15 in the morning at race mile 170. After this we were out of time for the race to count but we still fixed it and ran the car and finished the race.

Here is our 2 year old car (#1801). This car competed in the Baja 250 in 07. The car was doing really well and unfortunately we had a motor failure at mile 163. Same story this year: motor failure at mile 193. Documented progress! At least it made it another 30 miles this year.

This is a Arctic Cat with one-off long travel suspension. This is now a kit we offer for the Arctic Cat. It features Fox shocks, HID lights, seat drop and fiberglass fenders. In two years and over 600 race miles, this car has had zero mechanical failures besides the engine. In our experience, we have been very impressed with the durability of the Arctic Cat.
